What We’re Doing Based on Your Feedback
VOICE leadership reviewed your suggestions and is already taking steps in response:
Committees and Member Participation
We are continuing to develop our committees and encourage members to join one or more. Committee chairs are listed on the meeting agenda and on the website under the VOICE Committees tab.
Advocacy Activities
The Carpool and Rally Committee is hosting a poster-making party on Sunday, March 22, from 2:00–5:00 PM at St. Stephen’s Church.
The Postcard Committee also has several postcard parties planned.
Committee Work Time
We are considering designating a specific day for committees to meet and work together.
Member Feedback and Ideas
We will make it easier for members to share suggestions by creating a more visible place on our website for feedback. We also plan to place baskets on luncheon tables where members can leave comments or ideas.
Speaker Time Limits
We heard you. Going forward, we will ask our speakers to limit the length of their presentations so that there is time for questions and discussion.
Moving Forward
The results clearly show that members value a balance of community, information, and opportunities to take action.
We appreciate the time you took to share your thoughts and ideas. VOICE is strongest when our members are engaged, involved, and heard.
Thank you for helping shape the future of VOICE.
